Poetry slam'md

As Chairwoman of Poetry slam'md - association for stage art, literature and youth culture I organize a monthly poetry slam in the Redbox in Mödling. Our focus here is on multilingualism and internationality: for each edition, a poet from abroad or with a migration background is invited to perform outside of the competition.

Apart from organizing the regular events of slam'md - Der Poetry Slam mit Donner, I also moderate them. Here is a TV contribution of the slam in ORF.

World Poetry Slam Organization

As an active part of WPSO, I represent Austria internationally, and have co-organized both the Poetry Slam European Championships 2019 in Milano (IT) and those in Brussels (BE) 2021 as well as the Poetry Slam World Championship in Brussels (BE) 2022 - and the latter two also co-moderated in English. I also establish contact between the national and international championships and various institutes at home and abroad in order to enable Austria to participate in foreign competitions free of charge.

For four years I was part of the organizational team of the U20 poetry slam in the Dschungel youth theatre in the Museumsquartier Wien and I regularly moderated and photographed the events there and taught the writing class beforehand.

I was also an active member of the board of directors of slam alphas- an association that is committed to promoting FLINTA in the field of poetry slams, and I held the position of first treasurer there.

Art Visuals & Poetry Film Festival

In 2019, my film poem "Man in the Moon" was part of the festival programme, in 2021 I moderated the festival at Künstlerhaus Wien in German and English and since then I have also been part of the organizing team. For the 2023 edition of the festival, I created the Poetry Performance Film Award and curated it as a separate part of the program - 12 films from the USA, Angola, England, Scotland, Belgium, Sweden, Holland, Germany and Austria were nominated. I also presented this edition of the Vienna Poetry Film Festival bilingually.
